Angie Tomes
Angie is devoting this year to ministry at Angela House, a transitional home/program for women leaving prison. She works alongside Sr. Maureen O'Connell, OP (Adrian). Angie is no stranger to Dominican Volunteers. Her sister, Christie, was a volunteer a few years ago with 8th Day Center for Justice, and her cousin Katie (Nester) Meeks, was a volunteer at the International Community School where Andrea Silva is ministering this year. Angie is living in community at Genesis House with Laura Boston, another volunteer, and Sisters Pat Casey, Carletta LaCour, Fran Bodekker, and Lydia Delgado (Domincan Sisters of Houston). Angie is from Stillwater, Minnesota and attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
