Stephanie is from Crawfordsville, Indiana. She graduated in May from Indiana University with a degree in Kinesiology as a Fitness Specialist major and Spanish minor. Through the Newman Center on campus she participated in and served as the Co-Chair for the Student Life Team and led the Kairos Retreat for 3 years, acting as one of the student Co-Rectors for one year. She also organized Catholic student groups to participate in IU’s Little 50 running race and the Indiana University Dance Marathon, which benefits Riley Hospital for Children. Additionally, she worked in multiple university fitness facilities, was an Orientation Leader for new students, and was a Resident Assistant for a residence hall on campus.

She is serving in Chicago, Illinois as the volunteer coordinator at Sarah’s Inn, a center that serves survivors of domestic violence. She will be sharing community with the Dominican Friars of the Central Province at the Carlos Morales House.
