Erica Greil began as the Assistant Director of Recruiting and Marketing in May 2011 after having served as the Volunteer Coordinator at the Better Boys Foundation in the North Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago. Though originally from Minnesota, she studied Anthropology at Princeton University and served twice in Rwanda through the Salesian VIDES+ program. She offers a great knowledge and experience with various charisms having spent time discerning with numerous religious communities, including the Hawthorne Dominicans who minister to those with incurable cancer in New York. We are excited to have her on staff to both recruit the future volunteers of DVUSA and support the efforts of the current DVs.
