Hello. My name is Kristin Johnson, recent graduate of St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, where I was born and raised. My favorite color is green, I love to paint and draw, and an interesting fact about myself is that I have a brother who is 18 years older than me. In May 2009, I went on a Pilgrimage of Solidarity to Peru, through my school’s University Ministry. While on this trip, I made the decision to give a year of my life to service. I choose Dominican Volunteers USA because of it’s mission and belief in inter-generational living communities. I am excited to grow and strengthen my fait through the guidance of the sisters at my placement site at Immaculate Conception in San Francisco, California.
