Nicole Klco joins us from Whitehall, MI. She graduated from Aquinas College with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts. This year she is serving as a Kindergarten Teacher at St. Francis Center in Redwood City, CA. When asked why she chose Dominican Volunteers, she said:

“I applied to become a Dominican Volunteer because I deeply desire to become a Dominican Sister so that I can better serve those around me. I have been discerning religious life for the past 8 years. Initially, I thought I was called to be a Franciscan due to their specific vow of poverty. However, throughout the past few years I have recognized my call to Dominican Life through the Dominican charisms of service, study, community, and prayer. Having the four charisms and the specific concentration on service, I realized that I can build on my personality to even better serve those around me. I am striving to further explore my options and motivations for Dominican life in order to free my mind and therefore better discern my call.”
