Brian graduated from Dominican University in River Forest, IL this past May. He graduated with a degree in Psychology as well as a minor in theatre. Brian was very involved within the theatre program both on stage as well as backstage. He held the positon of publicity for Dominican’s Gay-Straight alliance club known as Common Ground. He was also a summer and fall orientation leader during his time at Dominican. It was from these experiences of leadership as well as the people at Dominican that inspired him to become a Dominican Volunteer. Brian desires to be either a school psychologist or a school social worker within a high school setting.
Being the only Dominican Volunteer in Racine, Wisconsin has not stopped Brian from doing his best. Brian shares community with Racine Dominican Sisters at Villa House. He is serving at the HOPES Center, an organization designed to promote awareness and offer solutions to the causes and consequences of poverty, mental illness and social injustice. There he is involved with providing resources for both walk-ins and phone call clients.
