Angela Chiappone was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Her dad is an accountant, her mom is a youth minister, and she has have three older brothers. In May, she graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor's in Health Science and minor in Psychology. Angela wishes to pursue her Masters in Public Health or Occupational Therapy after her year of service. This year she is living in Huntington Station, Long Island with four Dominican Sisters of Amityville and one other Dominican Volunteer, Kay. She will be serving at St. Agnes Academic High School in College Point, Queens as the Campus Minister. This is a wonderful opportunity for St. Agnes as they have never had a Campus Minister. According to Angela, “all of the students that I have met thus far have been so full of joy. They are ready to dream big and grow more in their faith while bringing their fellow students along on their journey.”
